| Targeting
Unlike in Minewars: Cincomm-9, where the
target lists are set in stone, here in LMS you can change the targeting
order of your units as needed to better control your armies and
battle outcomes.
Click "Target Orders" to bring
up the table shown below in which you can change the
targeting list of your units. As you can see, targeting is class based (ASU,
mech, tank, etc.),
similar to the system in Cincomm-9. Lower level
units may be able to only target 1 class while higher level units may
be able to target up to 3 different classes. So setting the targets is
pretty straight forward: you simply select the class of targets under
"Primary" for the first target class to be attacked, select the class
of targets under "Secondary" for the second class, and so on.
Targeting Orders Table
After setting all targeting orders, click
"Set Orders" to set the orders for all units. Be sure that you haven't
made a mistake in setting the orders. You have a limited number of times
you can set targeting orders per tick. Currently, the maximum is one
time per tick, although there might be ways to increase this number.
Once the targeting orders are set, they
are instantly propogated to all of your units, whether they are in the
home base or at a target section. This means that you can send your
army to a base, attack the base, then adjust your targeting orders before your second
attack if necessary.
