Engineering

Your Engineering skills affects how long it takes for your constructions crews and upgrades crews to complete their assigned tasks. For every two (2) points of Engineering skills that you have, your crews will require one (1) less week to complete the task. Take careful note of the fact that you need two (2) points to lower the construction/upgrade time. It is therefore a waste of a point to ever have an odd number of Engineering skills points. Engineers can upgrade their armies quicker and can expand their base to get additional units faster than others.

Crews

Engineering skills can give you the ability to rmanage additional crews. Additional crews, plus the construction/upgrade time deduction can give you the ability to build up your base infrastructure at lightening speed compared to your opponents. The time deduction can also give you a surprising number of projects that can be completed immediately.

Engineering Specialist: You have the ability to manage an additional construction crew. You can use them both, for example, to fully develop a single manufacturer refinery requirements, or develop two manufacturers in parallel, or have one constantly improving base security and the other developing mines and refineries. You will have more development flexibility than the average Section Leader

Engineering Expert: You have the ability to manage an additional upgrades crew. While you may not have super attack bonuses like the Military Specialists/Experts, you can make up for it with techonologically superior units, upgrading at twice the pace of anyone else.
